Community Bridges

Hi and welcome to my home page at Parent-to-Parent NH. My name Sarah Aiken and I am the Parent-to-Parent Liaison for Community Bridges, Region IV.
For the past 4 years I have been the stay at home mom of Colby, he is 4 years old . Like you, I have a child who experiences a disability. At first I was not sure I wanted to talk with other parents. However, as time went by I began to realize how much I could learn from other parents and not just about my sons disability, but about school systems, specialists, community resources and supports, legislative happenings and much, much more.
The people I have met over the past 4 years have been of great assistance to me and in turn I have been able to do the same for others. Working at Community Bridges gives me the opportunity to access more families than I could possibly imagine, giving me the opportunity to connect people from all over the region, state and the nation who can support, assist and share information with one another in whatever areas they desire.
Please feel free to contact me at 1-800-499-4153 ex 241 if you are interested in becoming a supportive parent, want to connect with another parent around an issue or you just want to talk.
I LOOK FORWARD TO HAVING YOU AS PART OF THE TEAM.
