PARENT TO PARENT OF GREATER MANCHESTER Serving parents of children and adults with special needs
![]()

Hi! My name is Margie Louney and I am the Coordinator of Parent To Parent of Greater Manchester. As a parent of an 18 year old son who has Down Syndrome and Traumatic Brain Injury, I know first hand how important it is to
talk to another parent. There is nothing that can be as supportive as the listening ear of another parent who has "been there"!
PARENT TO PARENT OF GREATER MANCHESTER OFFERS:
Emotional support, insight and understanding for parents when they learn their child has special needs. Current information on a variety of disabilities. Referral to community resources and services. Parent support meetings. Training for parents who would like to become a Supporting Parent volunteer. Ongoing workshops on a variety of health care and disability related issues.
If you would like to be part of Parent To Parent of Greater Manchester - or if you'd just like to "talk", please call me at: 206-2745 - I'd love to hear from you!Other Places to go:
